I was heartened to hear further about your new life and that you appear to be doing so well. Matthew and Joe sound like interesting gentlemen. Imagine talking politics after dinner! As you know very well, the most interesting the dinner conversation gets in the Cooper household is how big the cow was that Dad had to butcher.

I was somewhat startled to hear you now have a local pub, but I must admit I think that is purely because it is such a departure from anything our parents would allow or approve of. What is it like? Is it as noisome as they have always suggested those establishments are? Or is it a romantic haven where intellectuals debate international events?
